Andreea Pension

Even from the beginning, Andreea Mihutescu, from gorjean locality Baia de Fier, thought that she might offer accommodation and meal at European level for those interested of spending a few days at the country side.
   Who is Andreea and what does she want?
   She gathered around, her mother, Aurica Baja, her own son Andrei Mihutescu, that became in the meantime student in the second year of Electronic and Telecommunication Faculty at Politehnica University in Bucharest, also another two youngest neighbors willing to work. Andreea Mihutescu is a 6 years old girl that at the time being she can only agree with her mother. She only gave the name of the Pension, the fame was made by others.
   From the beginning, the rooms had endowments of 3 daisies. And also the 8 rooms from the new building of the pension founded in 2007. There you can find rooms with 2 or 3 beds and also extensible ones, as a request might appear.
   Places to visit, horses and pushcarts to stroll.
   Most of the guests that come here, are willing to spend their weekends and also their holidays in an unforgettable mountain landscape. At 2 kilometers away you can find Muierilor Cave, the Galbenului Canyon and Valey up to another 2-15 kilometers, and the road goes right beneath Ranca. In fact, the Ranca-Corneasu Mare area, that has a 900 meters ski sport-track with nocturnal installation, and more snow than the Prahova Valey, needs no further introduction. Also in Ranca you can find 3 or 4 stars hotels and also chalets. The Polovragi Monasteries, Icoana and Crasna are at a minute away, the Hurezi Monasteries, Bistrita, The Monastery From a Wood, all of them located in the County of Valcea, at 35-40 kilometers, the Camaraseasca Monastery at 35 kilometers, the Lainici Monastery at 40 kilometers, and the Tismana Monastery at 75 kilometers. We left for the end Targu Jiu, at 45-50 kilometers, with the masterpieces of Brancusi.
   You can find the famous ATV’s in a number of 4 at Andreea Pension, also horses to ride and the never missing pushcarts and sleighs. You might also add the fact that the Alpine Ranca Resort is only at 28n kilometers away.
