The salted water here has the highest content of iodine in Transylvania, and the iodine is the ion’s human longevity. The first probe, formed in 1912 to a depth of 864 m looking for methane gas, brought to the surface salted water. In the meantime were two wells were phorated. Cluj-Napoca - The Central Reformed Church The church is located on the Kogãlniceanu street from Cluj-Napoca, close to the Tailor’s Bastion. It is one of the most valuable Gothic buildings in Transylvania, built between 1486 and 1516. It is known as the Reformed Church on Wolf’s street.  The street’s name, one of the oldest streets of Cluj, is mentioned in the medieval documents like Luporum. After the unification of Transylvania with Romania, the street name was changed in the Mihail Kogãlniceanu Street, which has remained until now the name of the street. Historical monument The church has remained a unique monument because of its age and size, being one of the largest Gothic building in South-Eastern Europe. In 1603 passenger Giovanni Argentina described the church as „the most beautiful in all of Transylvania.“ It has 34 meters long and 15 meters wide. The highnesses of the walls reach 19 feet. The church was built from a single vessel, in the Franciscan spirit,  which didn’t want poster support or too many ornaments, so that nothing will deviate the attention of the faithful.  The furniture dates from the XV century, being developed by several craftsmen. In 1651 the claster was built, which worked as a college scholarship led by Apaczai Csere Janos . The College had the right to grant diplomas, which were equivalent to those given by  Italian, Spanish, French or German academies. At this college studied Patrascu Nicholas and his son, Michael the Brave. On the walls of the church is the richest collection of hatchments and sternums of Romania, Transylvanian nobles belonging to some of them, such as principles Apafi I and II whom were in fact buried here. Famous organ concerts In front of the building was located a copy of a bronze equestrian state of Saint George killing the Dragon. The original made in 1373 by craftsmen from Cluj and George Martin, at the command of Charles IV, is in Hradciani Royal Palace in Prague. The pilgrim must become a living conscience of the world we live in, the conscience on which his family, church and nation would seek support. More than ever our nation needs now the church, the church’s school and its sanctification. Travel Basilica, through its qualified staff, aims to be a school for each pilgrim.Caru’ cu Bere Restaurant Caru’ cu Bere is not a simple pub where you can drink beer and eat hot dogs. First of all, it is an outstanding architectural monument and second of all it is a ship full of memories. In 1899, Nicolae Mircea and his younger brother, Victor Mircea built the monumental construction on one of the main streets of the old Bucharest, almost simultaneously with the Post Palace-nowadays the National Museum-the CEC Palace and the Dacia Palace of the Insurance Company at the time. Caru’ cu Bere is a special place Bucharest people are very proud of, as well as a favorite destination for foreign tourists. Taproom-like dishes, excellent service and relaxing atmosphere turned this local into the ideal refuge for many generations. The mural paintings, stained glasses and the sculpted banisters create altogether a unique atmosphere. The Fourth Edition of Mures-Calimani Communities In August 2008, the Festival Mures-Calimani, in short, Mures Valley Festival, held in Rastolita, was again the center of attention. Transylvanian allegorical villages Already at the fourth edition of the festival, it was succeeded in large part to get people out of their homes and bring them at the mountains.  Mureæ Valley Festival was primarily a good way to promote local traditions. 14 communes and Reghin’s municipality have arranged each one’s household in miniature, where they exposed traditional object characteristic of each area. Compared with previous years, at the event joined two localities fom the Mureæ Valley, Petelea and Suseni, both members in the organizing association. One way of boosting tourism Organizers have estimated that the three day festival of 80,000 visitors have passed through the stands, of which several hundred from abroad. Given the number of visitors, the Festival provides a winning image for this area which is very attractive, and may encourage investment in agro-tourism.
