Accepting the invitation of Traian Basescu, the president of Romania, prince Frederick, Denmark’s successor and Mary the heiress princess, were in our country between 8-10th of October for an official visit. On Tuesday, 9th of October, the prince Frederick chose to visit two cities, places that are really worthy for admiration, the city of Sibiu and Sighi?oara, but not without seeing first the National Museum of Art located in Bucharest. The visit began with a short stop at the Town-Hall of Sibiu, where the guests were welcomed by the mayor Klaus Johannis, with whom they made a short tour of the city. The prince of Denmark honestly declared his enchantment towards the European Cultural Capital of 2007. At Sighi?oara, the heiress family served a cup of coffee in a restaurant within the Medieval Fortress, and the future king of Denmark showed his eager interest upon the well- known hunting places from Mure? district, already proposing to himself to participate at one hunt, most probably next year. The Prince Frederick and Princess Mary also visited the History Museum and the Medieval Fortress. Well guarded by his watchmen, the future king couldn’t forbore himself and entered through the souvenir shops within the Fortress and he also bought a shirt made of flax for his future queen.
