   Situated at 40 km from Ploiesti and 6 km from Campina, Telega is well known by the mineral baths with the highest concentration of salt in Romania. Certified historically since 1562, Telega is situated at an altitude of 650 m and it has a moderate climate.
   Salted Lake Telega is situated in the mouth of a saline having a depth of 150 m, a surface of 9200 square meters, and also rich in calcium, magnesium and potassium. Telega is a modern placement with 6400 inhabitants with a life almost urban, and amomg some streets the locality benefits of methane gas alimentation that will spread soon enough. Here it is built a lor since beside the locals another 800 people from Bucharest and other parts of the country came and elevated houses for holidays. People are drawn by the ozonized air, the peace surrounding, the important touristical places but especially by the mineral baths. Telega has a lot of salted lakes created on the places of the old salt-mines like Mocanu, Palada, Stavrica, Sweet lake and Central Bath lake. From this lakes the Mineral Baths Telega were administrated, well known for their therapeutic qualities with which they attract thousands and thousands of tourists that take advantage of this healing waters. The famous landscape of the Mineral Baths - OAKY is extended In front of those that come here for treatment. The offer is quite generous: a swimming place with cold baths expansed over 6000 square meters, a beach with playgrounds for little children, resting chalets, a modern sum with warm baths, sauna, a massage room, but the attraction point remains the salted lake.
