The state secretary Lucia Morariu, fights for the reborn of the Romanian tourism

- What is the minimum promoting sum for 2008, because the year of 2007 didn’t had a chance?
   - 7 million euros. For next year we must prepare ourselves even from now, because it seems that what ever worked in the past doesn’t work anymore. Some procedures owned by the former ANT aren’t accepted anymore, and we are also in the same situation with the co-financing. It was impossible to generate an acquisition procedure for this year . We must work on our budgets, the Master Plan is the indicator that we are following, that indicates a 8 percentage for internal market, clips for external market, and the rest goes on each and every respective market. We shall launch an annual Governmental decision in order to promote the touristic products, but with activities that are clearly specified. I would of liked that everything we made to be seen and recognized because the tourism is the romanian’s chance.
   Special law – ONT
   - The appearance of the National Organization of Tourism is then blocked because of legislations?
   - I can honestly say that I wish the ONT and we are trying with all our efforts to create a special law through which we would like to have the possibility of excepting ourselves from the standard grids, with public office workers, to accept into the public-private Administration Council a tourism referent based on a management contract, an internal organizational and functional regulation of this institution, and also the managing of ONT should be made based on budgets and management contract, including the liberty that such a director might have in the personnel selection and rewarding them accordingly to their performances.
   - Is it a long way till then?
   - We have a draft but meanwhile, I would like to mention that without juridical support we can make this happen. To conclude, if we have a good team of competent people, in one month we can finalize the law project.
